IRM.Net Upgrades for Current RDP Customers

This page is designed for existing RDP customers who need information regarding upgrading their legacy Internet Reservation Module (IRM) to the new IRM.Net platform.  If you are a new customer, please see, "IRM.Net overview".  Other links related to IRM.Net are below.

IRM.Net is a new version of the Internet Reservation Module which uses the full power of Microsoft’s .Net architecture.   IRM.Net has the following features:

• Easily convert pictures and other data from IRM classic
• Much faster access using Microsoft .Net technology
• Seamless Integration of IRM.Net with your Marketing Website
• Owner access for statements, reservations, paying bills, etc.  (Whole owned condos, timeshare, fractional, and club membership)
• Analytics & Campaign Management available (integration to Google Analytics)
• Virtual Store available to sell additional guest services

Process to upgrade from IRM Classic to IRM.Net

Upgrading from IRM Classic to IRM.Net requires the following:

• There is a $2,000 installation charge per property for reservation access
• There is an additional $2,000 fee to install the owner internet functions, including owner reservations, guest of owner reservations, calendars, newsletters, viewing statements, paying bills, entering/viewing work orders, and more.  This charge only applies to customers who use our Vacation Rental system, Condominium-Hotel system or timeshare/fractional/club membership.
• A new Windows 2008 server may be required. See "hardware requirements"
• Analytics & Campaign Management is available as an option for $3,000 (integration to Google Analytics)
• The Virtual Store module is available to sell additional guest services

Seamless Integration of IRM.Net with your Marketing Website

RDP's installation includes installing IRM.Net on your server, and moving all existing pictures and descriptions from your legacy IRM to the new IRM.Net site.  When the RDP installation is complete you will have a functioning Internet Reservation Module which you can link to from your marketing site. At this point you will be ready to change IRM.Net to the "look and feel" you prefer and integrate IRM.Net seamlessly with your marketing website.  The following choices are available:  . 

• If your staff or web design firm have expertise in web design, HTML programming, IFrames, Skins, Themes, Style sheets, and more, you can do the marketing website integration yourself.  See:   "IRM.Net customization".  Please be aware that RDP support does not provide basic training in these skills.

• RDP has partnered with GuestStream, who can provide a quotation for IRM.Net customization and Website Integration.
