Process Credit Cards through RDP
RDP software is designed to process credit card deposits on reservations made
with our internal RDPWin product or our
Internet Booking Engine (IRM.Net).
Credit card payments and authorizations can also be made at the front desk.
RDP software is fully PCI Credit Card Compliant and appears on the
PCI Security Standards Council list of Validated Payment Applications.
Resort Data Processing's Credit Card Module includes the following:

- Credit card deposits can be calculated and processed by guests using
RDP's commission free
Internet Reservation Module (IRM.Net).
- For customers using RDP's Vacation
Rental System, Condo-Hotel System, or
Timeshare/Fractional System, owners can pay annual fees and settle
statements using a credit card over the Internet.
- Fast processing times with high speed Internet access.
- Mobile
Devices can be used to check-in guests and swipe a credit card.

Inexpensive card swipe devices can be used.
- Reconcile the RDP system to
the daily credit card bank deposit.
- All scanners and workstations can take
credit card payments, and authorizations are summarized into a single
deposit.
- Additional authorizations can be made to guests already
checked-in. For example, an authorization of $400 at check-in can be
increased to $700 during the guest’s stay.
- The credit card authorization is automatically matched to
the sale at check-out. Any unused authorization is released to the guest.
This is crucial to guest service and satisfaction.
Credit Card Processing Options
The choices for credit card processing available with RDP are summarized below. The lowest rates are available when customers use RDP's
recommended processor, VRP. Alternatively, we
can provide a "gateway" to the processor of your choice using middleware
software from either VRP or Elavon.
RDP does not sell credit card swipes or receipt printers. These devices may be purchased from Erik Miller at Instruments and Equipment Company, (800) 432-1255.

For the lowest possible rates, RDP suggests using VRP as your
credit card processor
for the following reasons:

save $3,000 or more annually by using VRP
