Credit Card Interface

Resort Data Processing customers have relationships with more than a dozen credit card processors. Because every processor has unique interface specifications, the RDP software interfaces with a "middleware"™ product developed by Southern DataComm (SDC). The SDC software interfaces to a variety of card processors and RDP interfaces with SDC. As individual credit card processors change rules or procedures, SDC makes the appropriate updates, and the RDP interface remains the same.
Southern DataComm, Inc. is a software development firm located in Largo, Florida. The company was founded in March of 1985 and has developed notable expertise in the field of systems integration and connectivity in transaction processing applications. ProtoBase® and SofTrans® are software products developed by Southern DataComm as software toolkits that support transaction processing, integration and development for the electronic authorization and draft capture of checks, credit, gift, debit and EBT cards.
